Little process for my new painting - Fairies drive in: [link] .
Main steps: 1) Making a sketch on a little memo paper. 2) Scanning the sketch and painting over the main colors, the depth feel and a bit shadow. all this with a pallate of colors I made. 3) Detailing everything from the closest objects, to the background. Did this by using Genius Tabelt , Photoshop CS3, something like 5 hours +-. Maybe will move it to scarps later. Feel free to ask questions, Cas  |

May I ask you, how many layers do you usually need to paint something like 'Fairies drive in ' for example?

hmm most of the time I need a lot of layers to paint, I say about 30...
it's not really make a difference how many layers you work with, I do it just that if I want I can delete some parts of the painting later.
